Designing Our World
everybody's sad is our mission to create an innovative play experience for VR. To us, that means something that is non-violent, short, and easy to learn, that uses room-scale to its full potential. everybody's sad can be played at home, but was designed to be a festival experience, meaning play will only take about 15 minutes! We poured our hearts into carefully crafting each minute of play to ensure the meaning of our game would stick with the player when they leave the play space.

Jared Pettitt is a game design student at UCSC but more importantly, he's a person. He worked on everybody's sad, duh, and he also made a Seinfeld anime game that is dumb and you can play it at pntgrm.com if you want. He likes to shitpost on twitter and he thinks gaming is evil.
Liam Dugard is a 3rd year Game Design Undergrad at UCSC. During the course of the production, Liam was mostly tasked with 3d modeling assets and characters for the game. Before production, Liam created a game called Jejune, a puzzle game where you are trying to make everybody happy as personal biases start affecting the kid’s opinions, and Meet me in the Garden, a cooperative puzzle-based narrative-building game that encourages genuine connection between players while also combining both tactule and digital elements. Outside of this, Liam is the president and Design Lead of the Game Design club on campus
